My spacious classroom is a fully equipped, acoustically prepared and well ventilated / dry basement compartment in the heart of Vienna!
Less than 5 minutes by foot from the U3 station "Schlachthausgasse" and easily accessible by car via the A4 or the Lände, the building's entrance on Erdbergstraße leads to a small staircase down to the rehearsal rooms.
You're there too early? Although you can pass the time with a pleasent walk along the Donaukanal or in the Grüner Prater, thanks to an automatic door opener you can also go down independently and wait for the unit to start in my cozy waiting room!
There you will find seating, a table, and a small kitchenette. Here you can help yourself to anything you find - take a refreshing water and syrup, make yourself a energizing coffee or a warm cup of tea before your session.
The main thing is that you feel comfortable - mi waiting room e su waiting room!
In the room itself, I have two high-end drumsets on which I teach. Regularly tuned and re-skinned, they not only sound good during the lessons, but can also be professionally recorded during our session without much extra effort thanks to fixed microphones for practice and documentation purposes.
Furthermore, I have a large selection of digital and analog books and scores for drums, vocals & more, which I am happy to share with you. Additionally I can incorporate other digital content into the lessons thanks to a generous TV monitor and have some info's and notes scribbled quickly on my huge whiteboard!
In addition to modern drumsets, I also have a few different percussion instruments available to either supplement or be the main focus of our units.
Let me accompany you on the piano during our vocal lessons for certain exercises and benefit from the good sound system, a proper mirror for self-monitoring and other accessories.
Furthermore, I have various self-made and purchased educational tools in stock, which I constantly incorporate into the lessons - let me surprise you, I structure my units very creatively and with a great focus on fun and variety!
